Girls of Class XII visited Soda village for Geography project

A group of 44 Geography students of Class XII girls visited Soda village to conduct a survey on Socio Economic conditions of people living in Soda village from 13th July to 15th July, 2018. The survey was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rashmi Pareek and Chhavi Rajawat, Sarpanch of village Soda. Girls planted Jamun, Neem, Ashoka and Anjeer trees. With plantation girls also learned Pitcher Irrigation system, a traditional method of giving water to plants and crops in the fields in the water deficient areas.
A peep into the lives of the villagers, spent two days in the village to understand and realise the tough yet simple reality of village life.
