Jahnvi Singh, student of MGD, class XI-B had taken part in the Young Women Into Leadership Summit hosted by Birmingham City Council, Aston University and the US Embassy

Summit hosted by Birmingham City Council, Aston University and the US Embassy from 22nd to 29th July 2024.

It was an opportunity for young women interested in leadership, from all over the world, to take part in interactive sessions conducted by several renowned women who were experts in their respective fields.

The sessions were about politics, business, sports, media and STEM.

There were about 80 girls in all who were divided into groups of 10.

Each group had to make a PowerPoint presentation on any one renowned woman of their choice which were presented to the US Embassy on 29th July. Jahnvi's group was mentored by Amy Taylor, who has also taught Malala Yousafzai in the past. Participation in this Summit, was an opportunity to explore life experiences from women leaders, engage in cultural exchange and make friends across continents.

Jahnvi has come back with a plethora of life changing insights that’ll shape her into a true young Woman Leader.
