Inter House Monoact and Gandhi in me speech competition

Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School, Jaipur organized the inter house Monoact and Gandhi in me speech competition as part of 151st and 116th birth anniversary

commemoration of two of India’s greatest leaders and freedom fighters Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri respectively on 28th September 2020.The judges for the events were Ms Benu Puri, an Alumna of MGD Girl's school currently the Coordinator of Primary section at MGD Girl's School. The second judge for the event was Ms Seema Chaturvedi who represented the AKFI in Asian Games held at Guangzhou in 2010 as the MEDIA OFFICER and received a GOLD MEDAL for her services there.

Each house pitched one participant for both the events I.e. Monoact and Gandhi in me speech competition making it a total of eight participants. Overall Florence Nightingale bagged the first position followed by Madame Curie house, Helen Keller house and Sarojini Naidu House.

The performances of the participants revoked the ideals of our great leaders Gandhi Ji and Shastri Ji. Each performance inspired us to be a better version of ourselves and taught us to be the change in the world we wished to see.
