BAROT VALLEY TRIP

The Class VI students of MGD Girls’ School Jaipur, Batch 2024-25 embarked on an exciting educational trip to Barot Valley, known for its stunning beauty and clean environment. The trip, which spanned from 18 March to 23 March 2025, was filled with anticipation and excitement. A scenic drive through Himachal Pradesh’s lush greenery and picturesque landscapes, energising morning warm-up sessions, followed by thrilling activities like ziplining over a sparkling Uhl river and crossing it back on foot, the students not only spent time in the laps of nature but also faced their fears bravely. The challenging uphill and downhill trek to Lapas Waterfall gave students a chance to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region, learning about local flora and fauna. Furthermore, the students took on rappelling and free-fall activities, and explored nearby local markets, purchasing mementos to make the trip memorable. The days were adorned with various fun-filled games and tasks like Passing the Parcel and Passing the Message, Treasure Hunt, Maggie-Making, followed by scrumptious meals.

On Day II, the Closing Ceremony was conducted where students were recognized for their zeal and participation with titles like Best Tent, Ms Ever-Ready, Ms Forest Friend, and Ms Explorer etc. The day and the trip ended with a DJ night, where everyone danced and celebrated together.

The trip wrapped up on a high note, giving the students a chance to step out of their comfort zones, appreciate nature, and develop skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and unity. The Barot Valley trip was an unforgettable experience, full of learning and adventures beyond the classroom.
