Exhibition by Delphic Club Society of MGD

"Preserving the Heritage is promoting the Future".

The Delphic Council of Rajasthan, in association with the Delphic Club of MGD Girls' School organised a colourful exhibition, FORGOTTEN STORIES, with an aim to revive the forgotten craftsmanship of Rajasthan on 22 January 2025.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt Veenu Gupta, chairperson Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

This exhibition was a delightful display of various crafts of Rajasthan like the marvellous art of string puppets by Mr Rajesh Bhat and family, the skilled craft of Takashi by Mr Ramswaroop Jangid, a national award winning artist, the age old craft of Marble and Sculpting practiced by Mr Sunil Prajapati and the elegant art of decorative handwriting - calligraphy which is being carried forward as a craft by Mr Harishankar Balotia.

This initiative of preserving and promoting the heritage and craftsmanship of Rajasthan was attended by the students of MGD Girls' School, Tagore Public school and Vidyashram, Jaipur. Ms Kirti Sharma and Mr Tripathi, members of the Delphic Council and the organisers of the event, expressed their joy in the active participation of the students.
