The 81st Annual Function and Prize Giving ceremony of MGD Girls' School was graced by Mrs Inderjeet Kumar Katikala, alumna of the batch of 1980 as the Chief Guest. She is a retired Indian Civil Servant, from the Ministry of Defence. The ceremony was attended by Maharaj Jai Singh ji, Chairperson, MGD Girls' School, Mrs Nirmala Durlabhji, Life Member Board of Governors, President MGD Girls' Guild and Kunwar Ajay Singh along with the guild committee members, dignitaries and parents.
Merit holders, Subject achievers, Students with good conduct, Player of the year, Best All Rounder in class 10 and Student of the Year 2023-24 were felicitated in the Prize Giving ceremony by the chief guest and Madam Principal.
With Saaz-e- Tarang, a soulful performance of raag Jansmohini, by the school orchestra the atmosphere resonated with violins, guitar and tabla. The performance received a standing ovation from the audience. The chief guest, Mrs Inderjeet Kumar Katikala went down the memory lane sharing the anecdotes of her school life at MGD. She implored the students to dive deeper into the unexplored of life, to discover the vivid nuances of life and to make the utmost use of studying at a premier institute like MGD.
The ceremony culminated in the Dance Drama YUGPURUSH KRISHNA. Through dance, music, and storytelling, we delved into the heart of KRISHNA’S divine persona, celebrating the joy, the trials, and the profound truths that resonate through the ages. The meticulous planning and effective executive along with a seamless flow of the event was well appreciated by all dignitaries and parents.
