On 26th October Disaster Management & SDG club team members along with their teacher Dr Rashmi Pareek and Dr Rubina Bano visited AL Paper house.

Club members from class 6th to 12th attended an interactive session with Dr Abul Hasan Kagzi.

• The session was very informative as the main focus was on understanding the process of making recycled paper.

Students also tried making paper sheets. with pulp and rose petals. We were also shown the process of paper making through agricultural waste which was an enriching experience for the students

The club members were delighted to see various paper product displayed at the site and paper recycling procedures at various stages.

• Students were also explained about different types of machines used for making paper sheets and the biodegradable material used for the same which is environment friendly like leftover cotton, agricultural waste

• The AL Paper factory team showed our budding learners various handmade paper objects like - handmade measuring scales, handmade small paper animals, paper birds, paper flowers, folders etc.

• Dr Abul Hasan kagzi gifted club members some handmade souvenirs as well .

Overall it was an unique experience for the Club members to know and learn about making of various products from recycled paper.
