SCIENCE WEEK

DAY 3 : SCIENCE IN ACTION

Grade: VI - X

A science experiment display was organized to showcase students understanding of various scientific concepts and theories through hands-on experimentation . The event encouraged creativity, critical thinking and provided students with the opportunity to apply scientific knowledge in practical demonstrations and enhance understanding of key scientific concepts through experimentation. The exhibits displayed diverse topics and concepts such as atmospheric pressure, robotics, human skeletal system, natural and synthetic indicators, domestic electric circuit, food adulteration, electromagnets and many other Chemistry, Biology, home science and Physics based concepts.

A total of 78 students participated, showcasing approximately 80 experiments. The exhibits were demonstrated to all the sections of Grade III to VIII in their regular Science period, staff and few parents who were visiting the school.

Learning Outcome: Students reported that conducting the experiments helped solidify their understanding of the concepts. They appreciated the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
