MGD Girls' School hosted a cyber safety and security workshop for students of Class VIII and IX on 7th and 8th October 2024, respectively. Special thanks to Mr. Vikaasvir Batra and Mr. Anuj Ahuja from Unacademy for the thoughtfully curated session. The workshop covered topics ranging from cyber security to its importance for children, highlighting the need to protect oneself on social media platforms and the cyber risks adolescents might encounter, such as online predators, cyberbullying, phishing, and scams.

Students were advised to report such incidents to their parents, teachers, and counselors. The session also stressed the importance of using strong passwords to prevent account hacking. It concluded with a question-and-answer segment, followed by a short questionnaire.

The students greatly benefited from the session; it was an eye-opener for them.
