Green warriors club activity : Identification of Trees on Campus

1.Students were briefed about the importance of trees, their role in the environment, and how to identify various tree species using key characteristics such as leaf shape, bark texture, and fruit or flower type.

2. Field Walk:

Students were taken on a guided walk around the campus where they observed different trees,their leaves and flowers to identify the species .

3.During the activity, the students identified a wide variety of tree species present on campus.

Students showed great interest in learning about the different tree species, particularly when they encountered trees with distinct features such as colorful flowers or medicinal properties.

The identification process sparked curiosity about the ecological significance of each tree.
