National Sports Day was celebrated with the Opening ceremony of Inter house Games and Sports 2024-25. The celebrations started with great enthusiasm and vigour on 27 August 2024. This is a three day event that teaches and tests the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, discipline, team work, resilience of the students of all four Houses- Madame Curie, Florence Nightingale, Sarojini Naidu and Helen Keller.
The event was declared open by Mrs Archana S Mankotia, Principal MGD Girls' School. She motivated the students to perform to the best of their abilities and to remain graceful in all moments, of winning or losing.
This concluded with the Oath Taking Ceremony administered by Divyanka Hada, the Games and Sports Captain of the school.
