An Interactive Session with Shubhangi Acharya
On August 23,2024, MGD Girls' school had the distinct pleasure of welcoming back Ms Shubhangi Archarya, an esteemed alumna and internationally acclaimed filmmaker, for an interactive session with our students. Ms Shubhagi Acharya has garnered significant recognition for her recent documentary ' Beyond', which has received international applause for its profound storytelling and impactful message.
During the session, Ms Shubhangi shared her inspiring journey from being a student in our classrooms to becoming a celebrated filmmaker on the global stage. She spoke passionately about the challenges and rewards of filmmaking, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, creativity, and staying true to one’s vision.
The students were deeply engaged as they asked questions about the filmmaking process, the themes of her documentary, and her experiences navigating the film industry. Ms Shubhangi offered valuable insights and encouraged the students to pursue their passions with dedication and courage.
The visit concluded with a special screening of her documentary, leaving the students inspired and motivated to explore the world of filmmaking and storytelling.
