MGD Girls' School paid homage to the former Chairperson - Rani Vidya Devi ji on 20 August 2024, her third death anniversary.
Rani Vidya Devi's legacy is marked with her tireless dedication to the fields of education, social service and progressive reforms. Her leadership expertise combined with academic excellence has been instrumental in taking MGD to greater heights.
The 'Shraddhanjali' was attended by Maharaj Jai Singh ji, the Chairperson, Ms Jane Himmeth Singh, Member board of Governors, President MGD Girls' Guild, Ms Nirmala Durlabhji, Executive Member board of Governors, MGD Girls' School, Kunwar Ajay Singh ji, Member of The MGD society, Members from MGD Guild, Mrs Archana S Mankotia, Principal, MGD Girls' School and other esteemed members of the school along with students and staff.
After a heart- felt rendition of bhajans by the School Choir, Ananya Podder, the Head Girl, offered her tribute to the beloved former Chairperson, Rani Vidya Devi ji. Continuing further with the tribute, the Principal addressed the students and highlighted how Rani Vidya Devi ji navigated through challenges with resilience and grace inspite of her calm and gentle demeanor.
Maharaja Jai Singh ji added on his words of reminiscence for Rani Vidya Devi ji and encouraged all to strive diligently to uphold Rani Sahiba’s vision for MGD.
The event culminated with a floral tribute offered to Rani Sahiba by all the dignitaries, followed by the staff and student council.
