Bastille Day Celebration
Our school was adorned with the vibrant hues of celebration, bringing a touch of French elegance and Indian charm to our campus. The event unfolded with grandeur and heartfelt enthusiasm, creating an unforgettable experience for all present. The celebration began with a ceremonious pinning of badges and the presentation of exquisite chocolates to our esteemed Madame Principal.
Following the initial ceremony, the air was filled with the melodious strains of a beautiful French song, performed by our talented students. The stage then came alive with a captivating character enactment by the students of Class 9 and 10. The celebration continued with a spellbinding Indo-French fusion dance. A highlight of the event was the special ballet performance by our very own Aliya Mahajan of grade 6. To involve the audience and test their knowledge of French culture and history, an engaging French quiz was conducted. Participants eagerly responded to the questions, showcasing their enthusiasm and deep interest in the rich heritage of France.
The event reached its zenith with the soulful rendition of the national anthems of France and India. This poignant moment, filled with pride and reverence, underscored the deep bonds of friendship and mutual respect between our two great nations. The Bastille Day celebration provided a magnificent platform for our students to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of France while celebrating the beauty of our own cultural diversity.
