The Voicekraft
The Voicekraft - Story Enactment was organised for classes 6th and 7th was aimed at encouraging creativity, collaboration and expression through enactment of a chosen story.The participants were required to select a story from a genre of a fairy tale, a folk tale or even a short narrative from a children's book. The children were divided into smaller groups using interesting grouping techniques like the fire in the mountains, Number based groups and so on.
The groups were named by the students interestingly like The Incessant Weavers, Anabella, the Loudspeakers, The Risers, The Masterminds and so on.The children brainstormed and assigned roles among themselves.The students created props related to the story. Nothing was brought from home
After the Enactment , a discussion about the experience was facilitated. The students wrote a brief reflection about their participation and experience of the
enactment.
