TAABAR INTERNSHIP
11 Girls from Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur engaged in an interactive session with the children of TAABAR NGO on the geographical location of Rajasthan in India.
An activity was conducted on comparative study of Bihar and Rajasthan by Risika Raj,Yadunandini and Lakshika covering the
Location ,Capital ,festivals,culture, rivers and crops grown in Bihar and Rajasthan, the quality of soil, Chhat Pooja and its significance etc.
Simran Seehra and Sayali Khandelwal briefed them about Indian Independence Struggle and Bhoomika Meena and Misha Agarwal explained the children of TAABAR about the significance of tricolours in Indian Flag.
Children actively participated in an activity on Colouring the Indian Flag for which they were provided with A4 sheets and colours.
An interesting session on “Water cycle and importance of water in our life" was conducted by Kadambini , Kyna and Misha. Both the teams sung the patriotic song
"Saare jahaan se acha Hindustan humara".
Simran Seehra played violin for the children of TAABAR and taught the children about the different instruments and Importance of music in life. Yashaswini Rajawat conducted a Yoga session for both the teams, besides she also taught them the proper way of meditation and its impact on the mind. Vanshika, Lakshika,
Risika Raj discussed the importance of health, hygiene and cleanliness in our personal life.
This 2.5 hours session provided a platform for hands on learning to the students' team from MGD, which is an essential part of our lives and a way to get connected with children from different sectors of the society.
Real knowledge comes from going beyond the books and facing the challenges of life.
