Farewell Ceremony- Girija Singh
On 30th July 2024 a formal valediction was given to Mrs Girija Singh, PGT Psychology who had completed 24 years of service at MGD Girls’ School. It commenced with a special farewell assembly conducted by students of XI and XII in which they shared their learning journey with their teacher and expressed their gratitude through floral greetings and cards. It was followed by addresses of Madam Principal Mrs Archana S Mankotia, Head of Department Social Science, Mrs Manisha Dixit, and Mrs Girija Singh. The assembly ended with the school song.
This was followed by a formal farewell ceremony organized at the Jane Himmeth Singh Hall and was attended by Madam Principal Mrs Archana S Mankotia, Administrative Officer Col SS Sangwan sena medal bar, Vice Principal Mrs Pramendra Khangarot, Coordinators, Teachers and the guest of honour Mrs Girija Singh. Mrs Girija was presented with bouquets, school memento and other gifts as a remembrance of her cherished tenure in MGD. The attendees shared their anecdotes of Ms Girija and gave her abundant good wishes for the next innings. She was also given a traditional farewell by the support staff.
