MGD participated in the The Design Quest Inter School STEM Competition

Imagineer's Confluence: The Design Quest Inter School STEM Competition was held on
15th May 2024 at Mayoor School, Jaipur. 25 schools from across the country (4 online, 21 offline) participated in the competition.
Challenge of the competition was to design and build a roller coaster using limited materials (20 sheets of A4 size paper and masking tape) to achieve the longest time for a marble to complete the course.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) skills were put to the test as participants had to think creatively and work together to design and build their roller coasters. Team from MGD Girls’ school comprised of 5 students from Grade VIII Jenisha Rathore, Ganika , Chakshu Singh, Laranya Singh and Vanshika Goyal. The students designed and built a roll-on bridge structure, achieving maximum time for the marble to reach the endpoint. The students showcased problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork, and won the overall trophy
MGD school team emerged as the winner with an impressive time of 14.4 seconds.
