REPORT ON DALY COLLEGE INVITATIONAL DEBATES AND QUIZ
English debate team comprising Vaanya Khinchi of class XI G and Manasvi Rathore of X G participated in the preliminary round.
Hindi debate team comprising Navya Sharma from class X G and Bhoomika Agarwal from XII C as well as the Quiz team comprising Anya Gosain from XI G and Divyanshi Puri from XI F made their way through the gruelling preliminary rounds to the quarter and semi-finals respectively.
Hindi Debate team emerged victorious in the final round of Padma Shree JK Kate Memorial Hindi Debate securing the running trophy for the same through their phenomenal performances. Navya Sharma bagged Best Speaker (Preliminary round), Best Speaker (Finals)and Best Speaker (Overall)and Bhoomika Agarwal was the Second Best Speaker in the finals. It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to showcase their logical and critical thinking skills as well as learn from their fellow peers. The debating experience left an indelible mark on students as it encouraged the youth to ask thought provoking questions about the issues plaguing our world at present and how they affect our society at large.
