MGD participated in the Annual fest “Dharohar”
Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior hosted Annual fest “Dharohar” between 18th April and 20th April 2024. This year’s theme was “GUJARAT”. There were 15 schools which participated in 10 different events ranging from Art i.e. Painting, lippan art, Bandhej , block printing, embroidery and in performance art- folk dance, Bhavai (folk theatre) and brochure designing.
All events depicted the vibrant Gujarat culture. MGD Girls’ School bagged 1st position in Gujarati cuisine and third position in embroidery. Overall our students had excellent exposure of Gujarati culture and depth knowledge from the eminent Chief Guest Mr Umang Hutheising, Creative Director and Educational leader and judges, Prof. Amita Pandya, pioneer in Apparel and Textile , Guru Parul Shah, Artist and Educator in classical, folk and contemporary dance, Shri Bharatsinha Bariya, Artist of Indian Council for cultural relations, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, Shri Akshay patil, international dancer, Shri Piyu Gandhi, legend in folk and creativity in Gujarati folk songs.
