BASKETBALL CAMP-2024
M.G.D. GIRLS’ School organized a Basketball Camp from 9 April to 15 April 2024 in two batches- morning and evening.
Each batch consisted of 43 students who learnt various techniques and skills of the sport under the guidance of Mr. Yogesh Kanderiya, an international basketball player, NIS Coach and FIBA Level 1 certified Coach.
The camp focussed on strength training , conditioning, speed enhancement , dynamic warm up, improvement in target setting and various strategies of court assessment.
A theory session was also conducted for all the participating students. The camp also laid emphasis on the importance of fitness and daily exercising. The following students were the outstanding players of the camp :-
1.BEST PLAYER OF THE CAMP-NANDINI CHOUDHARY(10th)
2.FINDING OF THE CAMP-ALIYA MAHAJAN (6th)
3.MOST IMPROVED PLAYER OF THE CAMP-NAMYA BAGGA(10th)
4.SPECIAL MENTION- SHAMBHAVI P. PANDEY(12th), ABHISHRI JASWAL(9th),ANUSHKA KAPOOR (12th)& SWATI SINGH(10th).
