During the four day trek, from 4th to 7th January she traversed through the snow capped mountains and the rugged terrains of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 12,5000ft.

This experience was a test of endurance and determination and a great learning experience. As in the words of HPS Ahluwalia, "It meant climbing and conquering the summit within". Ms. Netal learnt many aspects of trekking including selection of appropriate luggage, proper clothes, importance of right training and understanding of various body symptoms to be aware of while climbing heights.

She plans to take more such trekking adventures in future and calls Himalayas as her second home.
