The life of a nation is secured only , when the nation is honest, truthful and virtuous.

MGD Girls' school ,was filled with ardor as it joyously celebrated India's 75th Republic Day. The event began with the flag hoisting by Madam Principal, Archana S Mankotia followed by the National pledge administered by the school Head Girl, Aastha Mohan. The School band and NCC Contingent together, then filled the ambience with a sense of pride with their synchronised march past on the tune 'kadam kadam Badhaye jaa'.

Thereon, patriotism was suffused in the air with the harmonious rhythm of two classic patriotic melodies - 'Bharat Ekta Zindabad' and Iqbal's 'Tarana e Hind'.

Ma'am Principal then addressed the gathering and encouraged students giving examples of this year's Bal Puruskar recipients and also made them understand the significance of our constitution.

Finally the celebrations concluded with sweets and greetings.
