M.G.D. Girls’ School celebrated it’s 80th Annual Day.
The Chief Guest for the day was Mrs. Aruna Roy. She is a renowned social activist who has extensively worked for the rural masses and the deprived sections of the society. She has played a crucial role in the passing of acts like MGNREGA and RTI.
Homage to the founder of our institution Maharani Gayatri Devi was paid by the dignitaries.
Our chairperson Maharaj Jai Singh Ji addressed the gathering .
The event began with a melodious performance by the school orchestra Infusing harmony in the ambience.
Our principal Mrs. Archana S Mankotia and student leaders presented the school's dynamic annual report.
Students who excelled in various fields were felicitated by our esteemed Chief Guest and Principal MGD. House Awards were also handed over to the house leaders

2. Miss Lutter's Cup for the best house in reliability - Helen Keller House
3. The trophy for the best house in co curricular activities presented by Rani Sampat Kumari ji of Bamulia - Florence Nightingale House
4. Jaipur Olympic Association Trophy for best house in inter house sports events - Sarojini Naidu House
5. Her Highness Rajmata of Jaipur Shield for Best House - Hellen Keller House and Sarojini Naidu House
Mrs. Aruna Roy then addressed the gathering and highlighted the true traits which make up one's persona neglecting the current obsession with wealth.
Thereon, we witnessed an ethereal burst of talent in the thought provoking Dance-Drama titled _'The conference of birds, produced by Dr Malika Sarabhai, the renowned classical dancer and directed by Mr.Yadavan Chandran
In the play, each bird symbolised a human trait or a flaw.The birds engaged in philosophical conversations. The students were equipped with different sets of skills by the trainers of Darpana Academy.
The play marked the end of an inspiring , enjoyable and indeed a memorable evening.
