A 3-day National Event named Delhi University Sustainability Forum (DUSF) in collaboration with Harithkram took place on 6th of October 2023. A total of 50 teams had sent their abstract out of which 10 teams, 2 of MGD were selected for the presentation. The event began by welcoming the guests, addresses by moderator & the chief guest Dr Kartikeya Sarabhai (Indian environmentalist),Prof. Col.Sanjay Srivastava (Chairman,CROPC & Professor of Practice,TERI-SAS) ,Mr Sumit Sharma (Programe Officer United Nations Environment Programme) Dr P.K Bhattacharya (Senior Fellow Associate Director Knowledge Resource Centre, The Energy Resource Institute) following a Plenary Session discoursing about the organizers and importance of SDGs. The presentations under the event School Student's Conference began in the afternoon. The students from XII (Team A) with the topic “Let's Go Back To The Roots With Youth” and (Team B) comprising girls of XI standard Gave a presentation on the topic “The New Jurassic: A Fossil Of Plastic, under the able guidance of Dr. Rashmi Pareek. PPTs of both the teams went efficacious enough by all the awe-inspiring words & statements gone into the making of the PPT. On 8th of October the results were promulgated of School Students' Conference in their Valedictory Session. The most awaited moment finally came when Team Bagged the second position with merit certificates and souvenir bags .Team B was appreciated for their presentation. Overall, the participants acquired a lot knowledge from this conference. The team also visited some historical sites such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, Lotus Temple, Rajghat ,India Gate and War Memorial.
