The patriotic morning of 15th August 2023 , MGD Girls' School, like the rest of the country , celebrated with utmost pride and joy , the 77th Independence day of the country.

The ceremony began with flag hoisting by Madam Principal , which was followed by the National Anthem and the National pledge.

Patriotic fervour was infused In the environment with a tinge of melody , by the patriotic songs sung by young MGDians and our Music teachers. Ma'am Principal Mrs Archana S Mankotia took the salute from NCC and Band contingents and addressed the august gathering. In her address , she emphasised the need to give back to our country and contribute fully to its growth.

The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets .
