HAPPY BIRTHDAY MGD

MGD Girls' School, celebrated its 80th birthday on 12 th August ,2023. The chief guest for the same was Mrs. Apra Kuchal, Ex Mgdian from the batch of 1997 and an Entrepreneur.

The program started with a tribute to our beloved founder Maharani Gayatri Devi ji who was indeed a visionary.This was followed by lighting of the lamp and reading of birthday messages by the Principal Mrs Archana S Mankotia. The Principal in her welcome address spoke of the glorious and incredible legacy that MGD was blessed with. This was followed by cake cutting, by the Principal, Chief guest and the youngest girls of the MGD family. Following this , there were 3 mesmerising performances which gave a short glimpse of our 2 day Event - Fuchsia.The MGD family was blessed by the presence of Kunwar Ajay Singh, Kunwrani Ambika , Col SS Sangwan , Sena Medal Bar , the administrative officer, members of the board of Governors , Vice principal Mrs Pramendra Khangarot and school coordinators.

Finally the moment came , which the whole school had been waiting for with utmost excitement- Fuchsia results - Florence Nightingale House was declared the winner. The 2nd position was a tie between Helen Keller House and Madame Curie House . The third position was bagged by Sarojini Naidu House.

Mrs. Apra kuchal , the chief guest was presented with a token of appreciation by Ma'am Principal and the former also enlightened the audience with her inspiring words.

The event then came to an end with the presentation of the vote of thanks followed by the school song.
