On April 10th, 2023, professional photographer Mr Joe Miller visited MGD Girls’ School . He generously donated two cameras to the School. As an expert in the field, Mr Joe offered to teach the students how to use the cameras properly and take high-quality photos. The students were thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from a professional photographer. Mr Joe started by explaining the basics of photography, such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. He then demonstrated how to adjust these settings on the cameras and gave the students tips on how to compose their shots. The lessons from Mr Joe turned to be incredibly valuable to our Photography club and Filmit club. Students also learnt valuable technical skills for handling a professional camera and also gained a new dimension in the art of photography. We are grateful to Mr Joe for his generosity and willingness to share his expertise with the students of MGD School. A special thanks to our Board member Mrs Jane Himmeth Singh.
