A group of 5 students attended the *Miss A.E.Das Memorial Oration Program* along with the Geography teacher Dr Rashmi Pareek on 25th February 2023. The session was organized by Kumari Anusuya EDNA Das memorial Trust and the Dept of Geography, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The Key Note Speaker Prof Milap Sharma, JNU Delhi, delivered his lecture on "Glacial Response in Environment Change and Disaster Management in the Indian Himalayas." Eminent Professors from Department of Geography Prof H.S Sharma (Geomorphologist and Bhoogol Ratna Awardee, Former HoD, UOR interacted with students and discussed about climate changes in Rajasthan and its impact. Prof Sarina Kalia, Prof R.N Mishra, Dr Manoj Saini (Subodh College), Prof T I Khan (Former President, CHEC INDIA, Jaipur) and Prof R.N Sharma (Head of the Department Geography, UOR discussed on issues of Sustainable Development and Geographical aspects and the Role of students in combating disasters. Overall it was an enriching learning experience for the entire team.
