IPSC SERVICE PROJECT 2022- PARMARTHAM

MGD Girls’ School is hosting “Parmartham”- IPSC Service Project from 2nd to 5th November 2022 under the guidance of Maharaja Jai Singh, Chairperson, MGD Girls’ School Jaipur. The four days project in collaboration with NGOs is being attended by 11 guest IPSC teams and the host team. The on-campus and off-campus activities are planned around pillars like- Service to Humanity; Service to Nature and Leadership. The day-long activities commence at 9:00 am on 3rd, 4th and 5th November. PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS 1. Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun 2. Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ School, Jodhpur 3. Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya, Gwalior 4. Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar 5. Punjab Public School, Nabha 6. Mayo College Boys’ School, Ajmer 7. Daly College, Indore 8. Mody School, Lakshmangarh 9. The Scindia School, Gwalior 10. M.G.D Girls’ School, Jaipur 11. Welham Boys' School, Dehradun 12. Mayo Girls' School, Ajmer ? An Orientation programme and an Ice breaking session was organised. This saw interaction of students in a very engaging manner. Games and activities were organised keeping in view the pillars of Parmartham like Nishtha and Sankalp. ACTIVITIES: Breathing Exercises and Zumba ? Skill Share Activities: 1. Tie and Dye 2. Resin Art 3. Gel and Wax Candles 4. Table mat 5. Puppet Making 6. Pottery and Stone Painting 7. Charcoal Painting • Motivational Talk was given by Lt Col Utsav Singh. An officer who has an extensive experience in counter insurgency and counter terrorist operations in J&K and North- East. He inspired students to be self-motivators. • Discussion and Planning for visit to NGOs. The participants were briefed about the visit to the NGO’s and the activities to be conducted there. The NGOs to be visited are Ms Anna NGO, Devri Government school, Prayas and Old age home. • Cricket Match:* The cricket match took place between the students of Rajasthan Nitin Senior Secondary School which is a school for blind children and a team of 12 players comprising a mixture of students from all participating schools. The former won the match by 3 runs. Followed by this formal match, the IPSC participants played a fun match forming two teams namely 'Beasts' and 'Dracula' where beasts won the day. • Kho-Kho Match* : The kho kho match took place between students from IWI [Indian Women Impact] and Team made by combining teams IPSC Sankalp and Pahal . Both the teams were highly energetic where IWI won the match. This was followed by a friendly football match. • EXHIBITION (Inauguration & Display) -All the participating teams showcased the efforts put by them in the 4 day long service project in the form of the items they had made during different activities. *The money collected from the sale of these would be used for community service* . *CLOSING CEREMONY* Guests for the closing ceremony were: Rajkumar Ajay Singh and Rajkunwarani Ambika Kumari, Ms Anna, Mr KN Singh, Mr. Jeetendra Nath Bhargava, Mr. Suraj Singh Chauhan, Mr. Hardev Sharma and Mr. Sanjay Sharma The ceremony began with a report on the 4 day long IPSC service project along with a video presentation on the same. The school then presented a cheque to the blind school and the latter also presented a bhajan . The gathering was then addressed by Mr. JN Bhargava and Ms.Anna. Lastly all the participants received their certificates from Principal ma’am and the guests. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks .
