MGD Girls’ School organised a Model United Nations hybrid training workshop for its students in collaboration with the City One Initiative from 7th to 9th September, 2022. The resource person for the same was Mr. Shivansh Ahuja, Founder and CEO of the City One Initiative. He mentored the students to understand the what, why and the how of Model United Nations. Emphasis was made on the importance of Just-a-Minute sessions, debates and group discussions. The sessions were highly collaborative and engaging. By the end of the session, the students were able to grasp the researching techniques in an MUN. They also learnt the techniques of speech formation. Students got an opportunity to upskill themselves by understanding the foreign policies of different nations across the world. MUN club would like to thank our respected Principal, Mrs Archana S Mankotia for giving the students an opportunity to hone their skills of MUNning.
