Social Science week is being organized in M.G.D GIRLS' SCHOOL from 12th to 17th of September. Various activities are being conducted for classes 6 th to 12th. Students of Class 6 participated in Gram Panchayat activity each girl was assigned a role as per the Village with full of enthusiasm children enacted as Village Sarpanch,Block Development officer and villagers.During the first day of the session all the villagers discussed about the various problems of villages like Sanitation, Electricity,Roads,Elementary Education etc after the discussions Sarpanch took the problems forward which will be resolved during the week. Class 7 th & 8th – Activities began with lot of excitement as Election process was explained to students of Class 7 & 8,After that elections were held for the post of Social Science Incharge and Assistant Social Science Incharge.Candidates did campaigning for the respective posts they were able to understand the procedure of Election. Class IX - Students enthusiastically prepared short skits on the theme Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav where Students performed on various historical events. Class XI &XII -Students of Humanities attended a session on Reintroducing Cheetah an Initiative by Government of India ,Introductory session was taken by Madam Principal Mrs Archana S Mankotia and the detailed discussion with some activities and quiz was conducted by the President of Heritage Club -Navya Nair and Dhara Jain . Social Science teachers and Student Incharges - Navya Nair, Mrinalini Yadav,Zainah Choudhary,Sara Sharma Dhara Jain, Divya Goswami, Bhavani Devarwar, Ridhisha Rathore, Himani Deora, Mansi Pareek were actively involved in organizing the activities in various classes.
