Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School, Jaipur organised an interactive session with Major General Sheonan Singh, Vir Chakra, on his life, experiences and insights. The session was attended by the students of class 10. Nephew of Freedom Fighter,Shaheed Bhagat Singh,Major General Sheonan Singh, Vir Chakra has been General Officer, Commanding of 16th Division and has also commanded 10 Para Special Force Battalion and 50 Independent Para Brigade during operation Parakram. Major General Sheonan Singh shared his life experiences and learnings from his days in the army to his hopes for the future of India and Indian Military. Sir also emphasised the importance of "thinking" and "learning beyond books". The session was highly interactive and motivated and inspired the students. It also helped them learn more about the army and the Indian freedom struggle. Such hands on interactions for children go a long way in building their value system.
