Students of Class 12th Biology along with Dr. Annu Mathur visited Green Feast Hydroponics Farm located in Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using nutrient solutions in a water solvent. Flowering Plants, Vegetables and herbs are grown in a totally organic environment. The farm was a vertical farm where Lettuce, Basil, parsley, and beans crops were planted The girls learned how the use of water was minimized by circulation and the pH, aeration was managed. The plants are regularly transplanted for a better environment. It was a great learning experience for the students and they will be using it in their biology project.
