Disaster Management and SDG Club PLANTATION DRIVE

Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School , believes in the concept of Sustainable Development. This esteemed institution has been inspiring the members of MGD family in conserving resources, planting trees, as well as, to follow the principle 'Reduce,Recyle and Reuse'. The Principal Mrs Archana Mankotia,Administrative officer Col S.S Sangwan Sena Medal* (Retd) , Coordinators and Club Incharges of Disaster Management and Sustainable Development, the enthusiatic members of the club and the Support Staff of the school participated in this venture of plantation drive in the school campus .This was a collaborative project initiated by the club members, Horticulturist Dr. Dilip Kumar Sharma and members of 'WE PLANT' NGO . Plants ranging from fruit trees of Pomegranate, Lemon, Figs, Neem and many others were planted. It turned out to be a great learning experience for one and all.
