On the occasion of the world environment day, Center for voluntary sector development (Government of Rajasthan) and Thar (trust) organized a conference ' Samya ' to spread awareness amongst everyone to safeguard our planet and environment and briefed us all about environmental conservation.The conference was headed by chairman ( voluntary sector development center) -Shri Mumtaz Masih and Dr Archana Sharma ( Chairperson Social Welfare Board) with many other dignitaries of various NGO's & institutions who enlightened us with their ideas and views on the same. From our school the conference was attended by Ridhima Dhaliwal, Akshita Tejwani and Maya Gurjar from class 10th who represented the MGD Nature Club. The students were accompanied by the teacher In-charge Mrs. Kavita Dhaliwal. The speakers were very motivating and the overall event was very efficacious and spell bounding, focusing on the conservation of our planet. All together students came to a conclusion that, In the universe are billions of galaxies, In our galaxies are billions of planets. But there is only One Earth. Let's take care of it and focus on living sustainably in harmony with nature.
