MGD Girls' School, Jaipur has time and again lived up to it's motto' Our Utmost for the highest. ' Women Navy Officers ,namely Cdr Praveen Malik, Cdr Poorvi K Chauhan, Cdr Smrita Sengar & Surg Cdr Sazia Khan graced the MGD campus with their presence as a part of the 'Women car rally' initiative celebrating 'Nari Shakti'. The Officers briefed the students about the functioning of the armed forces ; the difference between Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant navy and also explained how the navy Is becoming free from gender discrimination now by opening all branches of the service to women. They answered the queries raised by the students . Commander Praveen Malik presented a token of gratitude from the Navy to Madam Principal , Mrs. Archana S.Mankotia. Madam Principal addressed the students and encouraged them to aim for the armed forces. It was an invigorating and stimulating session.
