‘City Through My Lens’ Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School has embarked on a novel journey with its first ever Virtual Exchange Program (MGDVEP). With the first session under this program been conducted on 31st January, 2022 which helped the students from both the schools get to know each other better, MGD Girls’ School, Jaipur hosted the second session on 18th February, 2022. The objective of the session was an exploration of the respective cities with a glimpse into the geography, history and cultural heritage. The session was attended by the teachers and selected students from both the schools. The session commenced with an Ice Breaking session initiated by the students of the partner school. For which, a pair comprising a Sri – Lankan and an Indian Student was formed and knowing each other was facilitated through a 2 truths and 1 lie game. This was then followed by a presentation by the students from the partner school, talking about their city’s rich heritage and historical prominence. Following that, was a presentation by the students from the host school, taking the others on a trip to Rajasthan. A fun Sinhala Tongue Twister game was conducted by the students of the partner school. The students and teachers from both schools exchanged words of appreciation and the session concluded with ideas and a push to make the upcoming session even more memorable.
