The 6th Edition of an IT Club driven tech fest "TECHNACKS 2021" was organized by MGD Girls' School from 24th to 26th August. The tech fest was initiated and successfully led by the IT Department of the school. The aim of such technical competition hosted by the school is to provide the students with the opportunity to present their talent in a competitive attitude. The event drew registrations from 15 schools, with the participation of 149 students. The event was also streamed live on the host school’s official YouTube channel. The fest comprised of several inspiring and challenging activities. Day 1 started with the opening ceremony and orientation session. Ms. Archana S. Mankotia, the Guest of Honour and the principal of the school inaugurated the fest and in her speech emphasized the need for facilitating critical thinking among the students. Later topics were announced for Advertisement Production and Podcast Hosting. A preliminary round for IT Quiz was also conducted. Day 2 had another set of entrancing contests like Programming, UI/UX Designing, and Multimedia Presentation. The final round for IT Quiz and closing ceremony was hosted on 26th August, 2021, the last day of the fest. Every activity had different judgment criteria based on the skill and creativity. As many as 13 experts from different parts of the country were invited from various fields to judge the event. Backed by a team of very motivated and dedicated faculties, student coordinators and volunteers the tech fest was a huge success. The winners were encouraged with a certificate and trophies and all participants were given certificates as a token of encouragement.
