MGD Girls' School participated in the Inter-School Debate Competition conducted by Maheshwari Girls Senior Secondary School on the pre-decided topic- ‘The social and economic consequences of the lockdown order could be more harmful than covid-19 virus.’ The debate was conducted virtually (Zoom) on 29th July, 2021 at 10 am. Every speaker was given three minutes to express their thoughts on the same. The school sent two entries to participate in the event: Ananya Shandilya (class-X E) and Vanisha Sharma (class- XI H). Ananya spoke for the motion while Vanisha spoke against it performing with great enthusiasm. The participants learnt the skills of persistence in efforts, voice modulation and had a glimpse into varied oratorical skills.
