XIX Brem Dutt Memorial Pan India Inter School Competition

Cambridge Foundation School, New Delhi organized a virtual XIX Brem Dutt Memorial Pan India Inter School Competition from 17th to 24th July 2021. The competition comprised 25 events and several Schools across India along with International Schools participated enthusiastically in the event. MGD Girls’ School participated in Ventri Robo , Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya, Paridrishya , Ping a Pamphlet , Tesla Paradigm Facsimile , Gizmo Prodigy, Sci Art Tak events. MGD bagged First Position in two events- Sci-Art-Tak, Science related event and Paridrishya, Hindi based event. The participants for these events were Akshita Tejwani of 9 D; Tisha Vyas and Shirin Sharma of 10 C, respectively. SCI- ART-TAK was an event related to science based innovative ideation. The teacher in charge for the same was Mrs. Dipti Mahajan. Paridrishya event was an absolutely wonderful opportunity for students who got to learn a lot about the time periods of Hindi literature. It also helped in improving the voice modulation and confidence. The teacher in charges for the same were Ms Vijayshree Mishra and Ms Reena Mukherjee. Drishya Khandelwal of 6A participated in Ventri- Robo event under the supervision of Ms Sunita Rathore. She dressed up as a humanoid robot Grace which is designed to interact with the elderly and those isolated by Covid 19 pandemic. She used a voice changer to give the effects of a robotic voice while recording her video to be sent for the entry. The performance was highly appreciated. Manvi Gupta of 7B participated in Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya event under the supervision of Ms Garima Sharma in which she spoke News in Sanskrit Language and won a lot of praise. Srija Basu and Diva Bansal of 8 E participated in Ping-A- Pamphlet event under the guidance of Ms Neel Parashar and submitted their entries to gain a wonderful experience and word of appreciation from the host school. Falguni Gupta of 9 E made a video on Yogmath exemplifier as an application of 369 TESLA logic number in daily life and Sakshi Jain and Aastha Mohan of 10 A worked on the theme of reducing carbon footprint for the event of Gizmo Prodigy where they presented their idea through a PPT under supervision of Mrs Dipti Mahajan. The students in charge- Shivranjani Sharma, Harshita Bhandari, Jasmeen Kaur, Palak Jain, Vrinda Garg and Kulpriya Rathore for the above events also deserve a special mention for their untiring efforts.
