The 8th edition of MGDMUN Conference “Gambits of Sagacity” organized from October 21 to October 23 ,2021 on a virtual platform saw the participation of 260 delegates from 23 schools including three international schools. The three day event began with an invocation to the Goddess of Knowledge followed by a humble tribute to our founder Maharani Gayatri Devi ji and former Chairperson Rani Vidya Devi ji. The Chief Guest for the event was Mrs Nidhi Lauria CEO, Bharti Airtel (Rajasthan Circle) and an alumnus of the school. She emphasized on adopting the principle of reward in life. Mrs Archana S Mankotia, Principal, MGD Girls’ School, in her address, spoke about the MUN conference as a platform where problems of the world are easily solved through listening, dialogue and debate and that it is here that future thinkers and leaders learn to address and resolve global issues. In her closing address to the delegates on October 23, 2021, Mrs Mankotia stressed on the need to change one’s attitude towards solution of global problems. The MUN prefects, Secretary General Wusaut Mansoor and Under Secretary General Diya Pareek expressed their gratitude to all. Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur received the Best Delegation MGD MUN 2021 Award.
