15th August, 2021 MGD Girls’ School celebrated “Azadi Ka Mahotsav”, the 75th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Principal Mrs. Archana S. Mankotia hoisted the National flag. The Administrative officer Col S S Sangwan and the newly elected Cabinet members, Coordinators and members of the staff were also present. The Principal in her address quoted an excerpt from Pt. Nehru’s famous speech “Tryst with destiny” and reminded everyone that the hard earned freedom needs to be valued especially in times like these, and that each one of us must bear our duty towards the nation by being responsible citizens The school cabinet took the National Pledge followed by rendition of Patriotic songs by the Music Department that filled the air with patiriotic fervour.
