A group of 11 girls from our school participated in Le Concours De La Francophonie Du Mayo, the 8th Edition, organised by the Mayo College, Ajmer from 28th September to 10th October 2021. It was an international competition with schools from Dubai, London and all over India as well. Whilst the events were going on, French enrichment workshops like 'Francophonie, An Intercultural Perspective', 'Learning French through Songs', 'French: A New Horizon for Arts, especially Theatre and Cinema' etc., were also organised. The following student participated in the events under the mentioned categories: 1. Freya Baid - VI D (Junior Spell-Bee) 2. Navya Singhal - VI E (Junior Conjugation) 3. Janhavi Menon - VII A (Junior Solo Song) 4. Samriddhi Vaid - VIII F (Junior Poem Recitation) 5. Falguni Gupta - IX E (Declamation) 6. Trinity Kothari - IX E (Senior Poem Recitation) 7. Aahnvi Kaushik - IX E (Senior French Reading) 8. Shagun Sharma - IX E (Impromptu Story Writing) 9. Paravi Mandowara - X D (Video/Clip Based Questions) 10. Manasvi Singh - X E (Francophonie Quiz) 11. Tanishka Jain - XI F (Senior Solo Song) Paravi Mandowara of X D bagged the second position in her category. The teachers-in-charge for the same were Mrs Vinaya Gokhale and Mrs Mamta Joshi.
