Personality Development Module Session-3 Life Skills-Empathy Building Date-5th December 2021 MGD Girls’ School, Jaipur, under the vision of its Principal, Mrs Archana S Mankotia, initiated Personality Development and Confidence Building Sessions for its students from classes III to VIII; IX and XI. The third session under this series was organized for III - VIII class boarders on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021, by the School Counsellor Dr Rachna Vyas. The session was planned and executed following all COVID-19 protocol. This Group Counselling session on 'Empathy' started with a short meditation and ice breaking exercises, followed by pictures and video, explaining the concept of Empathy v/s Sympathy. The children did 2 Role-plays enacting both the concepts. The icing on the cake was the short film on Empathy, that gave them an insight and understanding about this important- Life skill. Overall, the session was very rewarding and effective and all the students went back more empathetic, thanking the Principal, School and Dr Rachna.
